چکیده
Objective: This study is aimed to identify genes and pathways that are upregulated or downregulated by Staphylococcus aureus components using meta-analysis.Study Design: Meta-analysis of microarray Data.Place Duration Study: The was conducted at R.O. Perelman Department Dermatology, NYU Langone Medical Center, New York, USA, from January 2015 March 2015.Materials Methods: Public repository “GEO Datasets” searched key term “Staphylococcus aureus” for data sets covering effects S. infection in Homo sapiens cells. performed immune cell responses analyzed RankProd, RMAExpress, DAVID software. Results: secreted factors biofilm planktonic cultures predominantly induce adaptive process suppress mitotic cycle. biofilms conditioned media treated keratinocytes upregulate anti-apoptosis immunity while cycle as major cytoprotective process. Similar the cultures, superantigens innate challenged Panton Valentine Leukocidin (PVL) iPVL system a defensive mechanism. Importantly, these increased microbicidal activity host Conclusion: PVL could be potential priming agent myeloid cells against virulent infections. Further investigations into bactericidal ability will provide efficient therapy community-associated Meticillin-resistant (CA-MRSA)

Epidemiology of mecA-Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus in Iran: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
Objective(s)Staphylococcus aureus is a prevalent pathogen worldwide. Methicillin resistant S. aureus (MRSA), which is usually multi-resistant in hospitals, has been a daunting challenge for clinicians for more than half a century. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to determine the relative frequency (RF) of MRSA in different regions of Iran.Materials and MethodsSearch terms...
متن کاملReduced sensitivity of staphylococcus aureus to vancomycin
Introduction: Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most common causes of infections in hospitals and vancomycin is used for the treatment of methicillin resistant S, aureus infections. Therefore, imergence of Staphylococcus aureus with reduced sensitivity to vancomycin is a serious problem. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of Staphylococcus aureus with reduced suscep...
متن کاملMethicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA), and Vancomycin-Resistant Enterococci (VRE) contamination of food samples in Iran: A systematic review and meta-analysis
During the last years, antimicrobial resistance has become one of the greatest challenges in clinical settings. Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus are important nosocomial pathogens worldwide. In different corners of the world, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) have been isolated from various sources including different foods of an...
متن کاملMethicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus colonization in Iranian Health Care Workers: A Systemic Review and Meta-Analysis
Staphylococcus Aureus (SA) and especially Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) remains a major cause of healthcare-associated infections worldwide. Health Care Workers (HCWs) may act as reservoirs for transmission of MRSA to patients and other HCWs. The aim of this systematic review was to investigate the prevalence of SA and MRSA colonization among HCWs in Iran. The used keyword...
متن کاملMethicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus in Ethiopia: a meta-analysis
BACKGROUND The burden of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus is a major public health concern worldwide; however the overall epidemiology of multidrug resistant strains is neither coordinated nor harmonized, particularly in developing countries including Ethiopia. Therefore, the aim of this meta-analysis was to assess the burden of methicillin resistant Staphylococcos aureus and its ant...
